JACKSON CHIROPRACTIC

HISTORY

Dr. Jackson is a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate and has been in private practice in the Austin community since 1987. Prior to his experience as a chiropractor, Dr. Jackson worked in the medical field as a respiratory therapist for 20 years in California, Colorado and Texas.

Over the years he has developed a combination of gentle and effective adjusting techniques producing great successes in treating lower back pain and sports injuries (football, baseball, tennis, golf). Sometimes Dr. Jackson uses myofascial release treatment with cases that involve chronically tight muscles.

SPECIALTY

Conditions most responsive to chiropractic treatment include: tension/migraine headaches, hand or arm tingling, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck stiffness, muscle spasms, mid-back pain, lower back pain, sciatica, hip and knee disorders, plantar fascitis, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), asthma, and certain gastric disorders.

Dr. Jackson has many patients who come to him because of his clinical experience in adjusting infants, young children and women in their 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy. In fact, Dr. Jackson's first visit to the chiropractor was at the tender age of 9 years old.

His kids were raised in Austin and his son is a graduate of The University of Texas.
